Oct 11-13

OCTOBER 11-13
**************************************************

Racing this weekend includes two Grade 1 races in the U.S., and several Grade 1 races in Great Britain and Australia.  Please note that the Australia races, because of the time difference, are run in the United States Friday evening, New York time.

Notables I will be following include Green Moon, Simenon, Atlantic Jewel, Fast Dragon, and Miracles of Life.  Simenon, in hopes of getting in the Melbourne Cup at Flemington on Nov. 5, lines up in the Herbert Power Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday, over a mile and half in the hope of getting the penalty which is likely to get him into the race.  Read more
