First race post time is 12:50 p.m. EDT

Big weekend, including two days of world class turf racing at Woodbine winding up with the Woodbine Mile being the finale with Wise Dan on Sunday. Overseas, there are two St. Legers, the oldest classic race (dates to 1776), the English St. Leger in its 237th renewal, at Doncaster; and the Irish St. Leger at The Curragh. Kentucky Downs adds 4 turf events capped off by its signature event, the Kentucky Turf Cup. Summer of Fun and Emollient head up a loaded field in the Grade 1 Garden City at Belmont on Saturday. Another Grade 1 at Woodbine, besides the Mile, will be the Northern Dancer Turf on Sunday. Printable time ordered list of races and entries, along with the lineup for both days with links to the cards and race replays.   This weekend's racing preview   Last week's races in review

RACES - LIVE AND REPLAY SERVICES: There are many options on the internet and cable services to watch horse racing.  HRTV (online or via television cable) runs most of the major races in England and Ireland, as well as the U.S.  Because of the time difference, the races can be viewed in the U.S. in the morning hours.  My favorite, and free, service is https://www.twinspires.com/tv/    You do have to set up an account but there is no pressure to bet, and you can choose tracks all over the world, including Australia, Japan, England, Ireland.  Give it a try.

Probably one of the easiest places to watch replays of races from all over the world is the Thoroughbred Daily News.  A free online publication, you do have to register to be able to watch the race replays.  They post them fairly quickly, so it requires very little expertise to check in after the big races to see when they are posted.  This is especially handy for races around the world, including Great Britain, Ireland, France, Australia.  Check it out:  http://thetdn.com
