The return of Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome, Kentucky Oaks winner Untapable and several graded events for the speedballs highlight the weekend racing schedule.

Classic

The battle for 3-year-old honors and, possibly, for Horse of the Year as well, shapes up Saturday at Parx Racing and next weekend at Santa Anita.  California Chrome, the Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner, has not raced since his Triple Crown bid was stymied in a fourth-place finish in the Belmont Stakes. He came out of that race somewhat the worse for wear and old-school trainer Art Sherman has given him plenty of R & R.  Read more at source

The highly anticipated return of 2014 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner California Chrome in the $1-million Pennsylvania Derby on Sept. 20 will be streamed live at America’s Best www.americasbestracing.net).
Racing (

Beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET, the 90-minute telecast from Parx Racing in Bensalem, Pa., outside Philadelphia, will be a feed of the regional broadcast produced by The Comcast Network. The $1-million Cotillion Stakes for elite 3-year-old fillies and the Gallant Bob for 3-year-old sprinters also will also be shown during the live stream.
