96th Running of the Far Hills Race Meeting aging like a fine wineFAR HILLS, SATURDAY, OTCTOBER 15: "We're very excited about the 2016 race," said Torsillieri. "We'll have live streaming for the first time, which will enable us to promote other charities. Pari-mutuel wagering is coming (2017). The New Jersey Racing Commission will be on the scene for a dry-run to help put it in place next year."
Signature race is the Grand National Hurdle G1 $350,000 4+ 21f T R4, post time 3:00 p.m. ET. Nicky Henderson (Sprinter Sacre) has a horse running, Days of Heaven, and Sprinter Sacre's jockey Nicolai DeBoinville will ride. Also, another Irish bred, Rawnaq, with the famed Ruby Walsh to ride.
"The live event will be live streamed and available on the National Steeplechase Association website, nationalsteeplechase.com. The streaming will begin shortly before the first race at 1 p.m. and will continue through the last of seven scheduled races." Read more at source
