HOLLYWOOD TURF CUP GRADE 1
DRF Jay Hovdey: Acclamation yields spotlight for time being
The West Coast stakes action on Saturday will feature the Grade 1, $250,000 Hollywood Turf Cup, for 3yo+. DRF's Jay Hovdey gives us a run down on the field for this 1 1/2 mile test of endurance, which includes the Neil Drysdale trained mare, Miss Match (ARG), at 10-1 with Mike Smith aboard. Another Drysdale trainee, Bourbon Bay, 5-2, will be ridden by Garrett Gomez. Also entered is an invader fr...om the East Coast and the 2-1 favorite, Sanagas (GER), trained by Graham Motion and ridden by Rajiv Maragh. Hovdey likes Norvsky, 7-2, with Rafael Bejarano up, and describes Norvsky as being an Acclamation understudy. There's a nice story about Norvsky, who is out of a "barren" mare, or thought to be anyway, and out pops Norvsky, who has 15 in the money efforts in 16 races with winnings just shy of $400,000. The second-stringer (to Acclamation, his stable-mate, anyway) from the cast-off mare, has a chance to shed the second-stringer status as he makes his Grade 1 stakes debut. The morning line on Norvsky is 7-2.

FUTURE - KENTUCKY DERBY
DRF: Union Rags made early Derby Favorite with Vegas sports books
Union Rags is now the 30-1 favorite, with Drill at 35-1, Creative Cause and Take Charge Indy both at 45-1, and Alpha and Fire on Ice still sitting at 50-1. Takes the Gold, at 85-1, is the only other horse under 100-1 as most of the eligible horses are in the 200-1 to 300-1 range this far out.

COOL TIP:  Come back here after the races and click on the cards for the featured races below and see the RESULTS and Order of Finish, as well as VIDEO REPLAY of the race.  Also:  to get the results for all the races on a particular day, this is BloodHorse's results page:  Race Results  There will be a "short list" but scroll down and click on "View Full List".  Most will have videos of the races!!
