Rematch for top three finishers of the 2000 Guineas in Japanese Derby
Sunday will see the Japanese Derby run with at least 11 of the runners by sons of Sunday Silence, including 6 by Sunday Silence son, Deep Impact. The first leg of the Japanese Triple Crown, the 2000 Guineas, was won by Dee Majesty on April 17, with the second and third finishers also by Deep Impact, Makahiki and Santono Diamond, who both will look for redemption in the Derby.
